Here is something that has always bugged me. Why on EARTH do we only have one physiological avenue for breathing? It seems like a massive design fail to have something as important as breathing not have some sort of backup system. Why don't we have vents coming out of our armpits so if something happens to our throat we have some other option for accessing oxygen and emissions pollution? Until evolution or science addresses that particular issue, it is a good thing there is RidgeCrest Herbals' AirwayClear™. Assuming your lung function is not quite up to climbing Mount Everest without oxygen, AirwayClear™ is designed to help relax chest tightness and soothe airways to help you get on with your day. I don't know anyone who can put their best foot forward when they are preoccupied with something as simple as sucking air into their lungs. That is one of those things you just shouldn't have to think about - kind of like how Kendall Jenner is somehow a Kardashian? So if you find yourself regretting your limited oxygen intake options, try AirwayClear™ to make the best of a really illogical setup.
HERBS IN AIRWAYCLEAR™
Perilla Fruit
Found in the oldest TCM texts, perilla fruit has been used for medicine, oil, food, and as a spice. Low in sugar and high in fiber, it contains 18 different amino acids, vitamin B1, lysine, methionine, and phospholipids. Studies show that regular use of perilla in the spring may help maintain nasal passages.
Angelica Root
Part of TCM since its beginnings, angelica root has been used for thousands of years to help tonify and invigorate the blood and alleviate discomfort. Often considered a woman's herb, it is one of the most widely used plants in China. It may help support circulatory function and relaxation of the airways.
Cassia Bark
Cinnamon has been used since the beginning of civilization, mentioned in Egyptian texts, the Bible, and other ancient records. One of the 50 fundamental herbs in TCM, cassia cinnamon contains cinnamic aldehyde, which has been extensively studied and found to have antioxidant properties with the potential to support immune function and the body's natural, healthy state free from excess inflammation.
Ginger Root
One of the world's most delicious and flavorful offerings, ginger is one of the fifty essential herbs in TCM and is included in almost every complex formula in that tradition. Used in both Ayurvedic medicine and TCM, the health properties are too numerous to cover but include helping support the body's natural immune function, ability to balance feelings of queasiness, and more.
Chinese Licorice Root
One of the most widely-used herbs in TCM, licorice is used to stimulate and harmonize gland function. It helps support the adrenal glands and immune system, energy production, and aids cellular removal of toxins. Scientific evidence exists indicating its ability to reinforce the body's natural, healthy state free from excess inflammation. Licorice root contains glycyrrhizin, a chemical compound that maintains the body's ability to block enzymes that lower the prostaglandin levels responsible for mucus production. It also acts as a guiding herb to enhance the activity of other key ingredients.
Tree Peony Root Bark
Found in the earliest TCM texts, tree peony bark was said to tonify qi and promote longevity. A symbol of prosperity in Asia, peony has spiritual traditions in Greek, Buddhist, and American Hoodoo culture. Named after the Greek physician god Paeon, peony has now been shown to contain many beneficial compounds that can support the body for maintaining good health.
Schisandra Fruit
Known for its extraordinary adaptogenic properties, including the ability to potentially help normalize and balance multiple human systems, this herb promotes healthy oxygen supply for the cells, potentiates the body's immune system, protects against stress, and builds stamina.
Tangerine Mature Peel
Tangerine peel serves to balance and regulate qi, i.e. air, gas, and energy flow throughout the body. The tangerine peel helps provide qi energy to each organ throughout the human system, especially to the lungs.

Is AirwayClear™ habit-forming?
No, AirwayClear™ cannot cause dependence.
What is the difference between your AirwayClear™ and ClearLungs Formulas?
The main difference lies in the TCM ideas of Cooling and Warming formulas. Cooling formulas are designed to calm and relax, while warming formulas are intended to stimulate the body. AirwayClear™ is a cooling formula, designed to cool irritation and support the body's natural state free from excess inflammation, helping the airways to relax and soothe. ClearLungs® is designed to stimulate the lungs and balance mucus levels while maintaining healthy airways. You can take AirwayClear™ and ClearLungs® together.
Will the licorice in AirwayClear™ raise my blood pressure?
It is not likely. While European licorice has been shown to raise low blood pressure in large doses, Chinese licorice has not been shown to have the same effects and is not used for that purpose in herbal medicine. Our AirwayClear™ formula contains 126mg of Chinese licorice, while it takes over 400mg of European Licorice to effectively raise blood pressure. You should always consult with your physician before making changes to any blood pressure regimen.
